The curriculum encompasses a wide range of topics, including anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, operative dentistry, and various dental specialties such as oral surgery and orthodontics. Moreover, students will have the opportunity to earn valuable certifications such as the Pennsylvania Skills Certificate (NOCTI), Dental Assisting National Board Radiation and Health Safety, and American Heart Association CPR/AED/First Aid/BLS certification. The Cooperative Education Program further enhances the learning experience by providing real-world, on-the-job training with local dental practices, bridging the gap between education and employment and paving the way for a successful career in dental assisting.
