Northeast State Community College’s Dental Assistant program is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the dental field. Offering both an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree and a certificate, the program combines rigorous classroom instruction with hands-on clinical experience, ensuring students are well-prepared for the demands of a modern dental practice. A central focus is on the holistic development of each student, fostering both professional competence and personal growth. Successful completion of the program positions graduates to confidently pursue national certification through the Dental Assistant National Board examination, as well as fulfill the requirements for application to the Tennessee Board of Dentistry.
